What is This Program About?


The Paris 2000 Program begins on April 14th and runs until April 24th 2000.

The Paris 2000 Program offers students a unique opportunity to study art and history in situ amongst the worlds brightest and richest cultrual urban centres. The program will include Comparative Civilizations and Fine Arts (visual arts) studies that will take place in the premier museums, galleries, artist studios, universities, art schools, cathedrals, palaces, architectural wonders, and senic neighbourhoods in and around Paris, France.

An interdisciplinary educational approach will combine dimensioanl understanding and appreciation of course studies. Ten days include sixty hours of mandatory formal instruction in the visual arts and history will be offered. In addition optional recreational evening outings to some of the Paris restaurants, cafes, theatrers, bookstores, fashion houses, and neighbourhoods will also be featured. The Paris 2000 Program is a wonderful international education opportunity that offers the promise for academic and social student development in a truely cosmopolitan light.
